Make your products machine-readable

A free Product schema generator, real price, availability and rating fields turned into valid JSON-LD, the format AI shopping assistants actually parse.

The short version
  1. AI shopping answers compare products on price, availability and rating, data that has to be unambiguous, not implied by page design.
  2. Product schema states these explicitly, in a format every major AI assistant and search engine already parses.
  3. Fill in your real product details below, copy the generated code onto that product's page.

Different job from FAQ schema

If you've already built FAQ schema for your help content, this is a different, complementary job, not a repeat of it: FAQPage schema marks up a question and its answer. Product schema marks up an actual item for sale, its price, whether it's in stock, and what real buyers rated it. A single product page can carry both if it genuinely has a Q&A section and is a real product for sale, they describe two different things on the same page, not competing versions of the same markup.

A real rule worth following

If you don't have a real rating yet, leave the rating fields blank rather than inventing one, schema.org and Google both explicitly prohibit fabricated review data, and search engines actively check for it. A missing rating costs you nothing dramatic; a fake one, discovered, costs your entire listing's credibility.

FAQ

Do I need Product schema if I already have FAQ schema?

Yes, they describe different things. FAQPage schema marks up question-and-answer content; Product schema marks up an actual item for sale, price, availability, rating. A product page benefits from Product schema specifically, and can carry both if it also has a real FAQ section.

Does Product schema guarantee AI will recommend my product?

No. It removes ambiguity about price, availability and rating so a real comparison is possible, but the product still has to actually be a good, competitively priced option for an assistant to recommend.

What if I don't have a numeric rating yet?

Leave the rating fields out entirely rather than inventing a number, schema.org and Google both prohibit fabricated review data, and a missing rating is far less risky than a fake one.

Where does this code go?

Inside the page for that specific product, wrapped in a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag exactly as generated, one block per real product page, not one block trying to describe your whole catalog.
