The audit checks whether AI engines can read and cite your pages. It covers your homepage plus up to 20 more pages from your sitemap. Repeated findings are grouped.

The audit refreshes weekly. Every check reports its own present, missing, or graded status. There is no invented overall score.

Structured data and page metadata

The audit checks:

  • Freshness dates and author information in structured data.
  • Meta description: missing, too short under 50 characters, too long over 160 characters, or good.
  • Canonical tag.
  • Open Graph title and description.

Access and page content

The audit also checks:

  • noindex.
  • robots.txt blocks for named AI crawlers, such as GPTBot and ClaudeBot.
  • Question-style H2 and H3 headings.
  • Missing or multiple H1 headings.
  • Pages under 300 words.
  • Image alt text coverage as a percentage.
